    The defense attorney for former Secretary of Agriculture Mike Espy, who was acquitted at trial, Mr. Wells will discuss challenges in shaping a trial strategy. He will also discuss opening statements and cross-examinations designed to advance the defense theory.

    The defense attorney who has tried more than 100 federal criminal jury cases, Ms. Kellman will discuss preparation techniques including use of subpoenas and investigators. She will also discuss use of demonstrative evidence, cross-examination of experts and other trial strategies.

    The defense attorney who obtained dismissal during trial of all charges against Senator Ted Stevens, Mr. Sullivan will discuss the central role of Brady and how to make Brady actually work. He will also discuss closing statements.
