  • Unglamorous as it may seem to some, debt collection litigation and judgment enforcement are fundamental functions of our legal system.  Not every defendant pays when they lose and some defendants just ignore cases entirely, leading to a default judgment.

What can be done then?  Quite a bit, actually. Knowledge of the basic rules and techniques in this area is important for any civil litigator. This program will provide an overview of debt collection litigation and judgment enforcement from the creditor’s perspective.  We will also focus on post-judgment litigation, including fraudulent conveyance actions.

Live Program & Webcast: $229 for Members | $329 for Nonmembers
Small Law Firm: $119 for Members

Members who are Recent Law Graduates, Newly Admitted Lawyers (earliest admission 2016-2018 in any state or country), In-House/Corporate Counsel, Judges (and their staff), or attorneys that practice within the Government, Academic or Not-for-Profit sectors attend this program for free.
