  • The role of in-house counsel is unique in the legal profession. Unlike their counterparts in other settings, in-house counsel not only provides legal advice to their client/employer, but also participates as a business partner in the results of the advice rendered. Effective in-house counsel create value by imparting sound legal advice, while also weaving themselves into the fabric of the business. This symposium will focus on the dual role of in-house counsel as lawyer and business person, how in-house counsel can create value for themselves and their companies, and best practices for meeting these challenges. The program will be followed by a networking luncheon for all participants.
