Attendees will learn about the nature, scope and duration of copyright protection; ownership and transfer of copyrights; and the litigation process, including the standards for infringement, the availability of injunctive and monetary recovery, and available defenses to claims of copyright infringement, including fair use. Whether you are a newly admitted lawyer or an experienced practitioner with little copyright experience, this program is designed to give you a head start in understanding copyright law.
