This program is an introduction to the basic probate process in New York. We will go through the requirements and forms needed to:
- Access a Decedent’s residence after their death
- Attempt to locate the Will by accessing Decedent’s safe deposit box
- Petition the court for the appointment of an Executor or an Administrator to manage the Decedent’s estate
Speakers will also discuss frequent issues and nuances that arise.
Who Should Attend: This is a good program for newly admitted, transitioning, non Trusts/Estates, and those attorneys who want to sharpen their skills.
