Program Chair:

Adele Hogan
Hogan Law Associates

  • This course will enable both in-house and outside counsel and Compliance, Audit and Risk professionals to expand their skills and be more valuable to their clients by covering the basic why, what, when, where and how of derivatives. Derivatives are used by most large public and many private companies, in part to manage risk. This basic course will cover how the International Swaps Dealer Agreements (“ISDA”), Credit Support Agreements (“CSAs”) work, margin calls, and netting. With COVID considerations, what happens if a counterparty goes into bankruptcy will also be discussed. Changes in margin rules and SEC and CFTC regulations will be highlighted. Certain asset classes such as foreign exchange (“FX”), interest rate and commodities (such as oil) will be discussed

    Program Fee:
    $49 for Members | $99 for Nonmembers
