The program will provide an overview of current issues in public corruption law. Panelists will discuss practice issues relating prosecuting and defending federal and state public corruption cases. The program will also include a discussion of the line of Supreme Court decisions narrowing the scope of federal anti-corruption laws, potential legislative fixes to the these federal laws, and alternatives to criminal prosecution for Bridgegate-like misconduct.
