  • This institute will examine recent trends, developments, and cutting-edge issues in employment law.  Topics to be discussed include legislative and litigation updates on sexual harassment law; litigating wrongful termination claims; mandatory arbitration; pay equity; defining “employees” for purposes of wage and hour law; accommodations and the cooperative dialogue; hot topics in executive compensation and severance agreements; and ethics for employment lawyers.  The panels will include in-house counsel for New York employers, representatives from governmental agencies, and top practitioners from both the plaintiffs’ and defense bar.
