State Courts “Next Steps” for Expanding Virtual Operations to Non-Essential Cases

On April 7, 2020, in a memo from Chief Administrative Judge Marks to all trial court judges and justices, Judge Marks discussed the ongoing and mostly complete statewide transition to virtual court operations for essential matters and explained that, going forward, the court system will begin opening up remote access to the courts for non-essential pending cases.
