Legal Groups to Host NY 12th Congressional District Democratic Forum

In Person at the New York City Bar Association – 42 West 44th St.
The New York City Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association Election Law Committee, the American Constitution Society (ACS) New York Lawyer Chapter, and the ACS Fordham Student Chapter will host a forum featuring Democratic primary candidates for New York’s 12th Congressional District on Thursday, April 23.
The forum will focus on local issues facing New Yorkers as well as the candidates’ approach to national issues. Confirmed candidates include:
Alex Bores, Assemblymember, 73rd District, New York
George Conway, Constitutional Lawyer
Laura Dunn, Civil Rights Attorney
Micah Lasher, Assemblymember, 69th District, New York
Jack Schlossberg, Writer & Advocate
Nina Schwalbe, MPH, PHD, Public Health Expert
Moderator:
Ben Max, executive editor and program director for the Center for New York City and State Law, New York Law School, and host of the Max Politics podcast
Attendees are encouraged to arrive when doors open at 6:30 p.m. for refreshments and networking before the forum begins at 7 p.m. A reception will follow.
