DACA Ruling Statement

The New York City Bar Association applauds today’s DACA ruling. Dreamers are among America’s best and brightest. Through DACA, hundreds of thousands of families have been kept together with increases in tax revenue, higher education, home ownership and public safety. Congratulations to the amazing coalition of undocumented youth, organizers and attorneys who made this victory possible. Now we urge Congress to  act — these young people deserve permanent protection.
