Climate Litigation Is On The Rise, Panelists At The UN Say
As a panel of world leaders met in a conference room inside the United Nations headquarters in New York City on Thursday to discuss the intersection of the rule of law and climate litigation, the outside temperatures climbed to a record high for mid-April, maxing out at 87 degrees. ‘The 80 degree weather should give you a sense of how important and urgent this issue is,’ said Susan Kohlmann, president of the NYC Bar and moderator of the World Law Forum panel.
