UN Committee

The Committee on the United Nations is a dedicated supporter of human rights and a keen monitor of developments in international law, legal issues, and norms. The Committee is tasked with monitoring such developments that are of particular importance to the Community of Nations. We engage on issues ranging from the post-2015 development agenda, the rights of the child and freedom of expression, constitutional issues in post-Arab Spring countries, and legal issues related to Western Sahara. The UN Committee hosts events with speakers active in the international community; we also prepare weekly updates on significant developments within the UN system, an archive of which appears on the right side of this page. For more information about the Committee and its activities, please contact its chair, Ulysses Smith.
