Cancellations & Refunds
For live programs and live webcasts, refunds and program credits are available provided cancellation is made in writing and received by the City Bar Center prior to the program. A $45 administrative fee will be charged. A $100 administrative fee will be charged for Institutes and Training programs. The cancellation fee will be deducted directly from the refund. For program credits no administrative fee will be charged. Program credits must be used within one year of the original program date. Cancellations must be in writing and emailed to the City Bar Center to email@example.com. Cancellations can also be faxed to the City Bar Center at (212) 869-4451. Refunds and program credits are not available for the purchase of On – Demand programs, DVDs, CDs, or course materials.
Payment must accompany registration; reservations are not accepted.
For an easier registration, and instant confirmation for live programs, we encourage you to Register online. Please note that all registrations after 3pm (the business day before a scheduled program) will be taken by phone or fax only.
Register by Phone, Fax, or Mail
You may register anytime by phone at 212.382.6663 or by fax at 212.869.4451. Registrations can also be submitted by mail. Download registration form. Walk-ins are accepted for all programs, unless otherwise noted. Confirmations will be sent by email one business day prior to the program. If you do not receive your confirmation, please contact our Customer Service Department at 212 382 6663 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Course materials for all programs will be available via download and hard copy. Pre-registrants at live programs interested in a hard copy and a download of the course book will be charged an additional $25.
Attorneys who would like to purchase audio visual products can receive a download of the materials.
Attendees from law firms or organizations with Passports are entitled to the hard copy course book without an additional fee.
CLE certificates for attending a program are given out at the program and signed by a CLE staff member at the end of the program. You are responsible for keeping a copy of the CLE certificate for your own records. An administrative fee of $15 will be charged for replacement CLE certificates.
Note: You must attend an entire segment of the timed agenda in order to receive credit for that segment. In accordance with NYS CLE Board Regulations & Guidelines for NYS Mandatory CLE Sections 2(D)(1) and 3(C)(1), attendees will only receive credit for a segment of the timed agenda if they have attended the entire segment. Anyone who arrives late, leaves early or misses part of a segment will not receive credit for that segment of the timed agenda.
