New Members Join City Bar Fund Board

The City Bar Fund of the New York City Bar Association has announced the appointment of six new Board members. The City Bar Fund operates the pro bono, diversity & inclusion, and other public interest activities of the City Bar, which include the City Bar Justice Center, the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice, the Office for Diversity and Inclusion, and the Lawyer Assistance Program.

The following members were appointed to the City Bar Fund Board by the Executive Committee of the New York City Bar Association: Tracee E. Davis, Partner, Zeichner Ellman & Krause LLP; Arunas Gudaitis, Senior Managing Counsel, Global Client Management, BNY Mellon; Aaron Kleinmann, Senior Manager, Litigation Counsel, Capital One; Richard Mancino, Partner, Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP; Nicola Port, Senior Vice President & International Counsel, Global Legal, Chubb; and Craig Waldman, Partner, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.

Roger Juan Maldonado, Partner, Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP, and President, New York City Bar Association, serves ex-officio as President of the City Bar Fund.

Robert F. Cusumano serves as Chair of the City Bar Fund Board. He is currently the Executive Director of the Legal Horizons Foundation.

Bret Parker, Executive Director, New York City Bar Association, serves as Vice President of the City Bar Fund.

The City Bar Fund, the 501(c)(3) sister organization of the New York City Bar Association, is comprised of four programs. The City Bar Justice Center provides access to justice for low-income and disadvantaged New Yorkers citywide by leveraging the pro bono expertise and time of the New York City legal community. The Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice provides pro bono legal support to human rights and environmental organizations in Latin America, Africa, and elsewhere in the world. The Office for Diversity & Inclusion works with New York City legal employers to foster more diverse and inclusive work environments. The Lawyer Assistance Program is a free, confidential service, available to attorneys, judges, law students and their family members in New York City who are struggling with substance abuse or mental health issues.
