City Bar Makes Permanent Eastern District Pro Se Assistance Program
The New York City Bar Association sponsored a discussion Monday about the relationship between the Asian American and African American community in the wake of former New York City Police Officer Peter Liang’s manslaughter conviction for the death of Akai Gurley….The panel was co-sponsored by City Bar’s committee to enhance diversity in the profession and committee on minorities in the profession, the Asian American Bar Association of New York and the Metropolitan Black Bar Association.
