“The City Bar Justice Center held its 12th annual gala April 5 at the New York City Bar Association. Akira Arroyo, director of the center’s Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Project, and Bernard Williams Jr., vice president and head of compliance training in the Americas for Goldman Sachs, attended the event in support of the organization, which provides free civil legal services to New Yorkers who can’t afford a lawyer….Michael A. Cardozo, partner at Proskauer Rose; E. Leo Milonas, partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman; Lynn Kelly, executive director of the City Bar Justice Center; and Judge Edwina Mendelson of the Family Court for the City of New York at the event, which raised more than $1 million.”
