New York City Bar Rates As Approved All Three Primary Election Candidates For New York County District Attorney

 New York, August 26, 2009 - The New York City Bar has evaluated the candidates running in the September 15 th Democratic Party Primary election for District Attorney in New York County—Richard M. Aborn, Leslie Crocker Snyder and Cyrus R. Vance, Jr.—and has rated all three as Approved. The review was conducted by the Association’s Committee on the Judiciary.

The Committee uses two ratings: Approved and Not Approved. Candidates rated Approved have affirmatively demonstrated qualifications necessary for the performance of the duties of the position for which they are being considered.

Note: To ensure the thoroughness and integrity of the ratings process, the City Bar cannot comment beyond what is provided in this release.
