New York City Policy Recommendations

With the first new mayoral administration in New York City in over a decade, a diverse cross-section of committees have been providing policy recommendations to the Mayor, his staff and relevant agencies. We are reaching out to members of the new administration in order to communicate our committees’ policy positions and recommendations, covering everything from animal law to zoning. Many of these positions can be found in our May 2013 report, Policy Recommendations for New York City’s Next Mayor. Committees are also developing new positions as they see fit. It is our hope that this outreach will inform the new administration about the City Bar’s priorities, familiarize them with the range of issues we address and have an impact on policy decisions.
