A.7002 (AM Titone) / S.5798 (Sen. Fuschillo) - Provides for the vacating of an arbitration award on the ground that the arbitrator was affiliated in any way with any party, or has a financial interest directly or indirectly in any party or in the outcome of the arbitration.

Attorney Fees

A.5275 (AM Titone) / S.1546 (Sen. Sampson) - Authorizes an attorney to attach a lien to awards and settlement proceeds received by his or her client through alternative dispute resolution or settlement.

Revised Uniform Arbitration Act

A.7826 (M. of A. Bing) / S.4148 (Sen. Volker) – would amend the civil practice law and rules, the administrative code of the city of New York, the New York city civil court act, the general business law, the uniform distract court act, the labor law, the education law and the executive law, in relation to arbitration proceedings and repeal article 75 of the civil practice law.
