Government Ethics & State Affairs Committee

Government Ethics and State Affairs focuses on good governance and ethical conduct in public service at the city, state, and federal levels. The committee’s work touches on diverse issues relating to ethics oversight, election law enforcement, the state budget process, the open meetings law, and inspectors general. In addition to issuing long-form reports and delivering testimony at legislative hearings, the committee has organized events and CLE programs on public corruption law, government whistleblower protections, and the state’s ethics commission.
