The program’s panel sessions will address corporations’ obligations to both shareholders and stakeholders under New York, Delaware, Texas, California, and European Union law. Panelists will focus on how attorneys can navigate the red-blue divide, as well as domestic versus European requirements internationally while advising their clients. The 4th session will use case studies to provide practical guidance on how counsel can help their multi-national corporate clients respond when mandates conflict.

Celebrate Law Day on May 1 by joining us for a special program with Damon Hewitt, President and Executive Director of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. Mr. Hewitt will speak to the City Bar about current threats to democracy, including voter suppression and mis- and dis-information, and the ways we can strengthen it. Mr. Hewitt will also speak about the nonpartisan Election Protection Coalition and the 866-OUR-VOTE hotline.
