Best Practices for Building and Supporting the Pipeline
An annual forum for educators and employers to identify challenges to pipeline diversity and suggest strategies and tactics to support diverse students who seek to pursue a legal career.
Annual Best Practices for Building and Supporting the Pipeline Forum
Each year, the Committee on Diversity Pipeline Initiatives hosts a Best Practices for Building and Supporting the Pipeline forum. This forum brings together regional pipeline organizations, legal educators and legal employers to discuss the importance of promoting diversity in the legal profession by encouraging programming and involvement for students considering a legal career. Forum participants identify the challenges to pipeline diversity and develop strategies and best practices to overcome these challenges through effective collaboration with organizations that promote similar missions. Following each forum, the Committee issues a set of best practices to assist with the development of diversity programs.
