Monday Night Law Clinic is a program created by the Committee on Legal Services for Persons of Moderate Means and the Legal Referral Service of the New York City Bar Association. It offers 30 minutes of free legal consultation. The areas of focus are Employer/Employee Relations, Matrimonial/Family Matters, Bankruptcy/Consumer issues, Landlord/Tenant issues, and Small Business Matters. NYPIRG (The New York Public Interest Research Group) is a not for profit organization that offers a hot line staffed by trained students who can answer some questions about Small Claims Court and can offer information about procedures.
