Law Week 2012
Join the New York City Bar Association for our 27th Annual Law Week Celebration.
In celebration of National Law Day on May 1st, the New York City Bar Association’s Legal Referral Service together with the New York State Courts Access to Justice Program, is having a series of legal information fairs throughout the New York metropolitan area. These events offer an excellent opportunity for New York City residents to learn about their legal rights and responsibilities and to receive educational material on diverse legal topics.
In conjunction with the local bar associations and other legal service providers we are setting up informational tables at locations in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. At each of these locations we will be distributing information to the public and also providing free legal consultations with volunteer attorneys. Other public agencies and local bar associations will provide information on their services.
