Social media has become one of the most important tools that advertisers use to reach consumers. This year’s program will focus on the key legal issues upon which you must advise your clients when they advertise in social media. Topics to be covered include: native advertising, using influencers and endorsers to spread the word about your products, making proper disclosures in Tweets and other small-space ads, designing promotions that comply with social media platform terms, advertiser responsibility for user generated content, conducting sweepstakes and contests through social media, and avoiding IP infringement claims.
