Attendees will learn about the nature, scope and duration of copyright protection; ownership and transfer of copyrights; and the litigation process, including the standards for infringement, the availability of injunctive and monetary recovery, and available defenses to claims of copyright infringement, such as fair use. Whether you are a newly admitted lawyer or an experienced practitioner with little copyright experience, this program is designed to give you a head start in understanding copyright law.
