  • Are your construction clients vulnerable to industry fraud and corruption? Experts in construction compliance will discuss the major traps for the unwary and how construction clients can be protected. Topics include “Pay to Play” (is it bribery, a kickback or extortion?); are the subcontractors who they say they are, and are they doing what they are supposed to be doing? (MWBE/CUF fraud, workers compensation insurance fraud, debarred lists, payment of appropriate labor rates, trades license violations and criminal statutes implicated); and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, U.K. Bribery Act and defending the company while maintaining the attorney-client privilege.
