  • This introductory program will teach you about the different forms of restaurant purchase and sale transactions along with the advantages and disadvantages of each; the due diligence required of counsel representing a seller or purchaser including review of issues in the lease to be assigned; alternatives for security for deferred portion of the purchase price; contract and closing contingencies including liquor license considerations; representatives of the buyer and seller; transferee liability or certain obligations and how to protect against liability; and closing preparation and documents.
