Access to Justice Innovations
The Family Justice projects strive to ease the process of filing for divorce by assisting low-income New Yorkers in completing necessary paperwork and preparing to represent themselves in court. Whether the divorce is contested or uncontested or the client has an issue with child support, the family justice projects direct clients to the appropriate resources through a daily hotline, biweekly clinics and referrals to volunteer attorneys.
