What: Discussion of current options to increase access to health care in New York State and to reduce the number of uninsured New Yorkers

Please join us for a timely symposium with Governor Spitzer’s top health care advisers and the Chairs of the New York State Senate and Assembly Committees on Health. We will also hear from a leading academic who formerly worked under both Presidents Clinton and Bush on health care issues. The topics to be discussed include the obstacles to increasing access to health care and policy trends toward universal insurance coverage, as well as other state initiatives. This symposium is free and open to the public.
