Association Hosts
Democratic
Attorney General Debate

Three candidates competing for the office of
state attorney general in the September 12 Democratic
primary will meet at the New York City Bar Association
for a spirited public debate six days before
the election. The race for attorney general is
turning into one of the more competitive contests
this election season as four Democratic candidates
do their best to convince voters that they are
the party’s best choice for November.
Democratic Candidates
for Attorney General
- Andrew Cuomo, former federal housing secretary
(attendance not confirmed);
- Mark Green, former New York City public advocate;
- Charlie King, former chairman of the New
York County Democratic Party;
- Sean Patrick Maloney, former aide to President
Clinton.
Association President Barry Kamins will moderate
the debate. Mark Green, Charlie King and Sean
Patrick Maloney have agreed to appear. Andrew
Cuomo has not confirmed that he will attend.
The public is invited to this free event. Members
