NYPL Express

The New York Public Library’s research and document delivery service, NYPL Express, makes available to you the Library’s collection of thousands of books, periodicals, and newspapers, as well as more than 400 electronic databases.

Extending from the present to the colonial era, the Library’s collection of federal legislative publications stands as one of the premier resources in the country. Holdings of New York State and New York City are similarly strong.

On the international level, the Library offers access to United Nations documents (back to its founding), European Union documents (since the mid 1950s), as well as British materials (over several centuries). For other countries, holdings are substantial in finance, economics and statistical data, including Central Bank publications. NYPL Express services include certification of materials and worldwide document retrieval for items not in The Library’s collection.
