Access to The Library
Access is limited to members and guests with Library privilege slips. These slips are sold in booklets of ten for $175; single day slips are available for $25. Slips may be obtained in the Library Administration Office, located on the Fourth Floor, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
Library Catalog
Within the library, the catalog can be accessed by clicking on the Library
Catalog icon located on the desktop of every PC in the Reading Room,
or by asking one of our reference librarians. To search the catalog
from outside the Library, just click on the Online
Catalog link that
appears on this page. For materials published prior to 1980, please
use the traditional print catalog located at the front of the Library
or call the Reference Desk at 212-382-6666.
Lost and Found
Inquiries should be made in the Lobby of the building at the Security/Information
Desk.
Microforms
The reader/printers make plain paper copies at .30 per page. Our staff will be glad to assist you in providing the best copy available. The clarity of the copy is directly related to the quality of the fiche or film.
Paging
To page an individual using the Library, call the Reference Desk at 382-6666.
Requesting Books
Books not shelved on Fourth Floor may be requested at the Reference Desk.
Periodicals, older case reporters, superseded codes and treatises and
foreign codes are available on request. Retrieval time is about 15
minutes or less.
Summer Associate Passes
All law students employed by
a member of the Association during the summer
recess may request free access to the library from May-August.
