From the liquidation of Hostess Brands to the merger of American Airlines to many other cases, legacy liability issues have played a significant role in the outcome of many recent high-profile bankruptcies. Featuring key players from many of these major cases and representing the core constituencies driving labor negotiations in these cases, this panel will explore the challenges and opportunities that confront debtors, unions, retirees, and investors with respect to collective bargaining agreements and pension plans. A cocktail reception will follow.
