This program will address the unique financial and parenting issues presented when confronted with a special needs case. A panel of leading experts in the field will discuss the evaluation of a special needs case; quantifying, evaluating, and illustrating special needs opportunities; relevant terms and statutes; government benefits and outside funding sources available for special needs cases and the steps needed to preserve those benefits; health and life insurance; guardianship issues; and supplemental needs trusts. The panel will further explore parenting, custody, and time-sharing issues specific to children with special needs and special talents.
