Learn how solos and small firm practitioners can complement their practice areas by acting as counsel to clients during a Business and Commercial Mediation process. Topics will include: a brief overview of the commercial mediation process; hot tips for lawyers whose clients are involved in mediation; how lawyers can use mediation to their advantage and help their clients before, during and after the mediation process.

Speakers: STEPHEN A. HOCHMAN, formerly a founding partner of Kramer, Levin, Naftalis & Frankel, where he practiced from 1968-1987, specializing in corporate, commercial and securities law, has mediated over 350 commercial, business, international and other types of disputes. He now practices almost exclusively as a mediator and arbitrator, consults and lectures on mediation and arbitration and conducts regular trainings in Commercial Mediation; ALLA ROYTBERG, Attorney/Mediator, The Law Firm and Mediation Practice of Alla Roytberg, P.C., Past President of the Family and Divorce Mediation Council of Greater New York.
Registration by April 10 is necessary. The fee, which includes lunch, is $35 for members; $50 for non-members.
