|Third Annual Town Hall Meeting: What Will Be the Hot Tax Issues in 2013?|
Wednesday, January 16, 2013 6:00 pm-7:30 pm
This event is an opportunity for attorneys from all fields, accountants, other professionals, and the general public to hear and ask questions about the hot tax issues in 2013. Will the IRS continue its aggressive initiative against undisclosed foreign accounts? How will the new “Fresh Start” and other collection initiatives of the IRS and New York State Department of Taxation and Finance play out in the coming year to help the taxpayer? Will tax authorities rely more on whistleblowers and will they receive compensation? What upcoming legislation may we see in 2013 that could be used by prosecutors against white collar criminal offenders? These, and other issues, will be explored in a Town Hall meeting not to be missed.
