|Women of Color Workshop Series: Managing Transitions|
Thursday, April 21, 2011 6:30 PM-8:30 PM
Registration for this event is now closed
The legal workplace presents challenges that affect women of color differently or more acutely than others, and the Women of Color Workshop Series aims to address some of these challenges and help women of color attorneys develop their own strategies in navigating the profession. The second of the three-part Workshop Series focuses on managing transitions. Advancement in today’s competitive and rapidly-changing economy requires us to actively chart our professional journeys in response to developing career goals, personal aspirations, and economic circumstances. This workshop provides guidance on how to identify and obtain new opportunities, exit one position gracefully, and enter another impressively. The last part -- “Rainmaking”-- will take place on June 9.
