Mindfulness is a way of focusing on the body, feelings, thoughts and emotions, and mental states. As lawyers develop this practice, we develop the ability not to react automatically, to see and hear and experience the situation more clearly and so to react with greater clarity and intention. This reduces stress and improves our effectiveness with our clients and co-workers, and our negotiation skills. The evening will consist of mindfulness meditation instruction and practice, a talk, and a discussion. Beginners are welcome. Speaker:
