| Implementing Subsidized Kinship Guardianship in New York City Monday, January 24, 2011 6:00-8:00 pm Online registration for this event has closed but you may still register as a walk-in the night of the event. Effective April 1, 2010, New York's foster children will have the opportunity to achieve permanency through a new option, Subsidized Kinship Guardianship. This Panel will answer many implementation questions such as which children and relatives will be eligible, how this has been successful in other states, and which children and families would be most appropriate for this permanency option.
