| Criminal Record Barriers to Higher Education: Scope of the Problem, Efforts at Solutions Wednesday, January 19, 2011 6 PM - 8 PM Event has expired. Registration for this event is no longer available. Applicants to most colleges and graduate schools are required to divulge their conviction histories and, more and more, to undergo background checks. In some cases, a conviction history can bar an individual from access to education programs. Come hear panelists discuss the scope of the problem and new approaches to helping increase access to higher education.
