| New York’s Broken Juvenile Justice System: Is It Being Fixed? Thursday, December 2, 2010 6:30 PM - 8 PM Event has expired. Registration for this event is no longer available. This panel will address the problems plaguing New York’s juvenile detention and prison facilities and look at current initiatives to improve the system. Issues to consider include recommendations for change coming out of recent federal and state investigations of the system, efforts at reform by state and city agencies, alternatives to detention and incarceration, and model approaches to juvenile justice that have worked in other states.
