| Non-Fiction: True Crime Stories & the Truth about Being a Lawyer-Writer Thursday, October 30, 2008 6:30 pm Event has expired. Registration for this event is no longer available. Please join us for a special reading of excerpts from the haunting stories of Brooklyn Noir/3: Nothing but the Truth. After the reading, the book's authors and distinguished panelists will discuss the book as a prime example of how law and literature interact, and the opportunities this interaction creates for lawyer-writers. Additionally, attendees will learn how to establish themselves as writers, secure a literary agent, and balance a law practice with writing. Information on the NY Law Journal’s annual fiction contest will also be available. A reception with the authors and panelists will follow the program.
