China chose the slogan “One World, One Dream” ( )
to express the common wishes of people all over the world to strive
for a bright future. The looming question is how spectators, athletes,
and journalists from around China and the world will be allowed
to express their many, varied wishes and opinions, especially when
they touch on politics, religion, and other sensitive topics. This
panel will address an array of issues concerning freedom of expression
and the upcoming Olympic games.
Members of the Association, their guests and
all other interested persons are invited to attend.
There is no fee for attending the program, however registration is necessary.
