Event has expired. Registration for this event is no longer available.
In-house counsel are constantly striving to ensure cost and time efficiency in the delivery of legal support to their company clients and, particularly in the current economic client, to obtain the best value for their outside counsel expenditures. Through the lens of two valuable inside-outside counsel pairs and InsideCounsel Magazine’s recent survey of inside counsel feedback on outside counsel relationships, this informative program will address creative and successful strategies for partnering with outside counsel to maximize value, control costs, and build integrated and productive relationships that continue to benefit companies over the long-term. Panelists will share their personal experiences with selecting and evaluating outside counsel; instituting guidelines for staffing, allocating work flow between in-house counsel and outside counsel; implementing and monitoring creative billing arrangements; and instituting unique methods of communication and collaboration between in-house and outside counsel.
The fee for this breakfast is $15 for members of the City Bar and $25 for non-members. Breakfast will be available before and after the program which will begin promptly at 8:30 am. The program will be informal and interactive audience participation will be encouraged.
