The growth of single malt Scotch whisky as a consumer item has exploded in the last three decades, making numerous distilleries, hitherto obscure, celebrated destinations for legions of whisky devotees.
Join us for an evening of friends, food, and scotch as Spike McClure, Master of Whisky for Diageo Brands leads you through this single malt tasting. Each single malt has its unique character (and characters, too). Learn why, and taste how very different the regional and local variations can be. From the "almost Irish" malts of the Lowlands, to the "bonfire malts" of the Hebrides, we'll see how crowded the Single Malt tent can be. The seated tasting will be followed by a reception.
