| Professional Boundaries: Client Relationships, Opposing Counsel and Co-Counsel Friday, October 23, 2009 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Event has expired. Registration for this event is no longer available. Register: Law firm externs are encouraged to attend. The Deferred Associate Law Extern Project was devised in response to the growing pool of law school graduates who have been deferred for up to a year from a private law firm and have chosen to work in public interest law in New York City. The program will provide a series of training sessions and roundtables that we hope will enable externs who may not have expected to practice in a public interest setting to transition successfully in their respective externships. Faculty: Lynn M. Kelly, Executive Director, City Bar Justice Center Janet Sabel, General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer of The Legal Aid Society CLE will be provided.
