Rights of People with Disabilities

There are over 2.5 million people with disabilities living in New York State. These individuals have complex legal needs. The report on Rights of People with Disabilities advises individuals with disabilities of their rights and how and where to pursue these rights. The report is written for individuals without legal training although it also contains numerous references to cases, statutes and regulations to assist lawyers who are representing clients whose rights may have been violated because of their disability or perceived disability.
For a copy of the report please email mharris@nycbar.org
